We visual artists tend to develop a roster of characters over many, many years that somehow become our alter egos. This is mine, Daniel. Or Dan for short. And the main character of a series of online comics that is one of my most cherished projects to come. I wanted to do something freer paint-wise here. As is evident I am still having a ball with my new Intuos tablet, and that’s precisely the idea – keep doing more and more things. This, for now, is my escape from day-to-day drudgery.
